An exhibition dedicated to Ruth Asawa, Objects & Apparitions — the artist’s first major solo show in New York in over 50 years, featuring approximately 50 works including sculpture and works on paper — a rare and comprehensive view of the artist’s body of work. The exhibition traces the development of Asawa’s artistic journey, from her early works on paper to her pioneering modernist sculptures.
